Dluscious exists to serve a simple mission: To help you select the finest gourmet foods, coffees, wines and desserts in the world.

Our techniques are simple: we choose a food, coffee or wine to test, and then we buy samples. And then we taste those foods, and decide which is best.

This is no task for the faint of heart, and we take no pleasure in it. We are monks in the world of the gourmet. We find ourselves in that world, but not of it. We are not monks in the sense of people that maintain celibacy. Or in the sense of people that deprive themselves of worldly pleasures. Nor do we shave our heads, nor meditate, nor wear orange robes. No, we harken back to an earlier, more spiritual definition: the monk is one engaged in the disciplined pursuit of a higher calling. In our case: gluttony.
